PREDICTIONS: Because of the increase in carbon dioxide and the daunting challenge of brining these levels down, the pH of sea water in Biscayne National Park and other acuatic areas will continue to decrease. This could lead to coral and other species in Biscayne National Park not being able to survive and dying out and other species being selected for because they can survive and reproduce in this new environment/pH. As awarness increases the amount of waste inctroduced into the ocean by recreational people should decrease causing a less harmfull affect on Biscayne National Park. Fisherman and boaters will be more cautious due to an increase in signs in the water and laws that are strongly enforced. This will help preserve the seagrass ecosystem, fish species, and manatee species.
